Elaine Shuck is a nationally recognized leader in interactive videoconferencing. For over ten years her involvement has been focused on the design, application and effective use of communications technologies for education and business applications.
Ms. Shuck is the Global Education Director for primary and secondary schools for Polycom, Inc. Her responsibilities are to ensure complete customer and partner success, product and program development related to the education and training segments and to facilitate industry utilization of educational technology. During the last year she has traveled throughout North America, Europe and Asia to implement Polycom’s technologically advanced portfolio of solutions successfully.
She is an accomplished expert in her field and a frequent speaker at conferences. Her leadership drove development, implementation, and management of Polycom’s Collaboration Around the Planet, Content Searchable Database, Content Access Program, Content Provider Program, Special Events and the Honors Program. She works at a national and international level to deliver training to educational groups on topics such as interactive and engaging videoconferencing, distance learning course development, instructional design and delivery and videoconferencing etiquette and protocol.
Ms. Shuck has shared her knowledge of distance learning program development with many national and global institutions including New York Public Schools, Alabama State Department of Education, New Port News Public Schools, Pennsylvania Middle School Association, Rutgers University, Miami State University, South Dakota Department of Education, Canadian Association of Distance Educators, Chinese University of Hong Kong, De La Salle Universities, Manila and Ramkhamhaen University of Thailand to name just a few.
