Dr. Denzil Edge is President/CEO of Learning House, Inc. (www.learninghouse.com). He is an internationally known educator with extensive experience in distance learning and distance learning technologies. He has taught in higher education in Kentucky, Florida, Alaska, Scotland, Germany, and Australia. Dr. Edge and his team have developed more than 300 online and CD/DVD formatted eCourses for television, compressed video and Internet systems. He has taught more than 40 distance learning courses using a variety of distance learning technologies and he has built more than 50 online campuses. He pioneered the development of distance learning television and Internet programs in the field of disabilities and teacher education.

Dr. Edge served as Professor and Director of Distance Education Programs in Special Education at the University of Louisville. He was a recipient of the University of Louisville's Board of Trustees Award for Outstanding Teaching and Support of Graduate and Undergraduate Education. Additional honors for his distance learning programs include three awards from the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) in the category of "Best Distance Learning Programs in Higher Education." He was a founding member and served as President of the Kentucky Distance Learning Association (KyDLA). He is a Board Member of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) and served as Co-Executive Editor of USDLA Publications.

Dr. Edge has extensive experience in grant development, program development and management. He has written and managed numerous federal, state and foundation grants in the areas of undergraduate and graduate education employing educational and distance learning technologies. In addition, he has consulted with a wide range of businesses and educational institutions on development of international education programs and building of online and CD/DVD formatted eCourses. Dr. Edge is the author of more than 90 articles, books and reports and has delivered over 175 presentations, keynotes and workshops on distance learning, parent/family education, and the education of children with special needs. Dr. Edge holds a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in the areas of Learning and Behavioral Theory and Computer and Information Systems.
