Bill is a founding member of the Florida Distance Learning Association and has been actively involved in all aspects of the organization’s operations since it’s inception. During the past fifteen years he has worked for the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System, a state and federally funded organization that provides staff development training, and consultative and support services to Educational Professionals throughout the State of Florida. During his tenure with the Florida Distance Learning Association, Bill has collaborated with USDLA officials on several initiatives. According to Bill Jackson, “I am very excited about this new opportunity to assist in the expansion and management of the USDLA state chapter constituencies.. We’ve seen tremendous growth in the distance learning industry and hope to capitalize on the strength and voice of our state members.” Bill will be officially elected to the national board of USDLA for a one-year term at the Association’s Annual Meeting in October, at which time he will become the Senior Vice President for Chapters.
