Extends Deadline for 2003 Distance Learning Awards Nominations.

IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Boston, MA, January 31, 2003The
United States Distance Learning Association today announced
it has extended the deadline for its 2003 Annual Distance
Learning Awards due to overwhelming request. The prestigious
Awards will be presented on April 30, 2003 at the USDLA Awards
Ceremony during the Learning and Training Week Conference
& Expo held at the Washington Convention Center in Washington,
D.C.
Nominations must be received
by the USDLA Awards Committee by February 7, 2003.
The awards are given to honor outstanding achievements by
individuals and organizations in the field of distance learning
including education and training. Fifteen awards are given
in five major areas, which include Pre K -12 Education; Higher
Education; Corporate/Business; Government; and Telehealth.
Awards are presented for Excellence
in Distance Learning Teaching, Excellence in Distance Learning
Programming, and Most Outstanding Distance Learning Achievement
by an Individual.
