KNOWLEDGENET PENETRATES EUROPEAN
E-LEARNING MARKET WITH
AZLAN PARTNERSHIP
KnowledgeNet's Entrance Into European Market Paves Way to Deliver Concrete
Business Results for European Customers Through Results-Based Enterprise E-Learning
Solutions
PHOENIX -- August 7, 2002 –
KnowledgeNet(R), Inc., the fastest-growing provider of enterprise e-learning
solutions, today announced a reseller partnership with Azlan, Europe's leading
networking solutions provider. The deal is a significant step forward for KnowledgeNet
as it marks the company's entry into the European market. Under the terms of
the agreement, Azlan will serve as the European sales partner for KnowledgeNet
and will actively market and distribute the KnowledgeNet® INTERACTIVE and KnowledgeNet®EXPRESS
learning solutions to its customers.
Award-winning KnowledgeNet INTERACTIVE is a true, second-generation e-learning
environment. It provides an engaging, multimedia-rich self-paced learning experience
that delivers unprecedented levels of learning efficiency and effectiveness
through advanced instructional design concepts such as prescriptive learning
and technically accurate, captivating simulations, along with anytime, anywhere
accessibility. KnowledgeNet EXPRESS is a breakthrough e-learning product offering
that combines the benefits of web-based, expert-led instruction with the flexibility
and value of a self-paced environment - essentially bringing a world-class technical
instructor to your home or office according to your own schedule preferences.
Through this partnership, Azlan can now offer customers a comprehensive training
solution, including: classroom training using their 186 classrooms throughout
Europe; live instructor-led training via the Web that leverages their certified
instructors to deliver a virtual classroom to the student's desktop; and self-paced
courses via the KnowledgeNet INTERACTIVE and EXPRESS offerings. Azlan will also
have the ability to provide customers with access to KnowledgeNet® MENTOR, a
training support system for students enrolled in a KnowledgeNet course that
includes: one-on-one coaching via email and chat; practice labs; technology
and certification advice; and additional coaching resources.
All these solutions are supported via the KnowledgeNet Learning Management
System (LMS), which tracks students through the self-paced learning process,
and the Azlan "MANE" program, which provides the training needs analysis
necessary to select the correct learning modality.
"KnowledgeNet has the recognized status as an e-learning leader within
the training industry," said Richard Leigh, European training director,
Azlan. "We are very pleased to make available KnowledgeNet's next-generation
e-learning solutions to our European customers. Having three primary training
delivery methods allow us to offer a tailored, blended solution that best fits
the needs of our customers. Our customers no longer have to choose between e-learning
or classroom training. They can have both, in the format that best serves their
business and learning objectives."
"KnowledgeNet is committed to delivering learning solutions that drive
tangible business results for our customers. A key component to this commitment
is the quality of our partners," said Tom Graunke, CEO and co-founder of
KnowledgeNet. "Azlan is the leading European training and distribution

solutions approach. I look forward to working with Azlan and helping them realize
the true promise of e-learning through solutions that deliver a clear competitive
advantage."
