POSITIONS AVAILABLEUniversity of GuelphUniversal Instructional Design ProjectThe University of Guelph, through Teaching Support Services, has received funding from the Provincial Government's Learning Opportunities Task Force to undertake a study of universal instructional design (UID) principles. The central premise of UID is that when courses are developed and taught in keeping with these principles, learning for all students (including those with disabilities) is enhanced. The project will fund five large-scale course redesign projects and five to ten course enhancement projects, as well an evaluation component, to take place during the 2002-2004. As a result, Teaching Support Services is seeking to fill the position of Instructional Designer/Project Manager for the first two years of this initiative. For further information on the position, please contact Aldo Caputo, Manager of Learning Technology & Courseware Innovation, at acaputo@uoguelph.ca.
