Univ of Botswana in Gaborone
Graphic Designer
Requirements:
A Bachelors degree or
Diploma or equivalent in graphic design or other appropriate areas. It
will be an advantage to have done training in some or all of the following:
- Adobe
Photoshop, Adobe PageMaker, HTML, XML, Learning Management Systems or
Web based Systems such as WebCT/Blackboard, and in developing on-line
(elearning) courses and have at least one year relevant experience in
graphic design.
Duties:
- To
create visual design elements including templates, typefaces, icons, buttons,
graphic styles, illustrations, colours, navigation, animation, and interactivity
for materials produced by the educational Technology Unit.
- Analyse
presentation needs and advise clients accordingly.
- Engage
in on-going research into appropriate new graphic design software, development
processes and applications in education.
- Assist
in Academic Staff training where necessary.
Remuneration:
The University offers
a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and
