Graphic Designer

Requirements:

A Bachelors degree or Diploma or equivalent in graphic design or other appropriate areas. It will be an advantage to have done training in some or all of the following:

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PageMaker, HTML, XML, Learning Management Systems or Web based Systems such as WebCT/Blackboard, and in developing on-line (elearning) courses and have at least one year relevant experience in graphic design.

Duties:

To create visual design elements including templates, typefaces, icons, buttons, graphic styles, illustrations, colours, navigation, animation, and interactivity for materials produced by the educational Technology Unit.
Analyse presentation needs and advise clients accordingly.
Engage in on-going research into appropriate new graphic design software, development processes and applications in education.
Assist in Academic Staff training where necessary.

Remuneration:
