Mentergy Announces Million Dollar Contract for TrainNet Live e-Learning in India

 

Petach Tikva, Israel, Aug 20, 2001 - Mentergy Ltd., (NASDAQ: MNTE) formerly Gilat Communications, a global leader in blended e-Learning techniques and technologies, today announced that Hindustan Technologies Ltd. (HTL) has purchased Mentergy's TrainNet live e-Learning system in a deal worth over $1,000,000.

HTL (a subsidiary of Skysat Holdings of Singapore), is offering the TrainNet interactive virtual classroom environment to organizations throughout India for video-based training via satellite delivery. Their first customer, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, plans to deliver IT training through many of their 450 franchise locations in India. Mentergy expects to supply courseware for Manipal's IT training classes as well as other HTL customers.
