Todd A. Hitchcock | Biography
Todd A. Hitchcock is the Vice President of Online Solutions for Pearson Learning Solutions where he leads Product Management, Product Development and Business Development for Pearson’s Higher Education online products and services.  Prior to coming to Pearson Mr. Hitchcock held leadership positions at Florida Virtual School and eCollege.

Mr. Hitchcock’s innovative approach to classroom instruction took him from the classroom, to leading district-wide implementations of educational technology, to the management of a virtual school. He has provided consulting and training to numerous online programs across North America.

Mr. Hitchcock has a combination of educational, governmental, and for-profit experience.  In addition to his role in the traditional and online education sector, he served as the Coordinator of Learning, Development, and Corporate Initiatives for the Ontario Ministry of Consumer and Business Services where he developed a ministry-wide learning strategy for government employees. Following this, he served as the Director of Account Management for eCollege where he worked with K-12 and Higher Education partners to develop strategies and build online programs that were highly engaging and growth-oriented.

Subsequently, Mr. Hitchcock moved to Florida Virtual School as the Vice President of Global Services where he lead a team that provided solutions to numerous schools, districts, states and countries around the world.


In his current role Mr. Hitchcock serves as Vice President for Pearson Learning Solutions where he is focused on helping educational partners build and grow online programs in both K-12 and Higher Education.  Mr. Hitchcock is an advocate for educational improvement through innovative technologies and currently is on the Board of Directors for the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) and has served on the Board for  the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA).
